JinkoSolar launches “Sunny 365” solar-plus-storage platform for retail rooftops
JinkoSolar launched “Sunny 365,” a solar-plus-storage platform for retail rooftops with AI dispatch, already deployed in Thailand, on July 24, 2026.

JinkoSolar unveiled “Sunny 365,” a standardised commercial solar-plus-storage platform aimed at cutting power bills for retail and supermarket customers, the company said on July 24, 2026, according to pv magazine Global. The package bundles JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 n-type TOPCon solar modules with SunGiga G2 liquid-cooled battery storage and an AI-based energy dispatch system run through the company’s Jinko Cloud platform. TaiyangNews, an independent solar trade publication, corroborated the launch and reported the platform’s Chinese-market name as “Qingtian 365.”
Modelled on a 15,000-square-metre supermarket rooftop
pv magazine reported that JinkoSolar modelled Sunny 365 on a 15,000-square-metre supermarket rooftop fitted with a 3.3 MW solar array of roughly 5,000 Tiger Neo 3.0 modules, paired with 2.09 MWh of SunGiga G2 storage. In this model, the array is projected to generate approximately 3.45 GWh a year, covering around 34.5 percent of the site’s assumed electricity consumption. TaiyangNews reported the storage figure as 2.088 MWh, a rounding difference consistent with pv magazine’s account. JinkoSolar offers the storage as either eight 125 kW/261 kWh cabinets or four 250 kW/522 kWh cabinets, according to TaiyangNews, which also described an alternative configuration of 880 kW of solar paired with 522 kWh of storage aimed at medium-sized chain stores.

Already deployed at a Robinson store in Thailand
JinkoSolar said Sunny 365 is already operating at a Robinson retail store in Thailand, where a 3.16 MW rooftop array built with Tiger Neo 3.0 modules is paired with five liquid-cooled SunGiga G2 storage cabinets rated at 215 kWh, pv magazine reported. Green Building Africa’s coverage described the same Thailand deployment with matching figures. Neither source specifies whether the 215 kWh figure applies to each individual cabinet or to the five-cabinet system combined; the article states the figure as reported, without further breakdown.
The dispatch layer distinguishes Sunny 365 from a standard solar-plus-storage installation: JinkoSolar’s AI-based scheduling algorithms, coordinated through Jinko Cloud, are designed to shift stored power to cover peak-price periods and manage consumption automatically rather than relying on fixed time-of-use schedules set manually by site operators, according to pv magazine and TaiyangNews.
JinkoSolar’s retail-focused storage push follows other recent JinkoSolar technology announcements, including JinkoSolar’s certified 34.82% perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell, announced in June 2026, which pushed the company’s cell efficiency close to the industry record held by rival LONGi.
